It’s July and we wanted to ask you a question.
How are you feeling at this time of year?
Our dev team members all come from families with humble beginnings and we just wanted to thank you for your engagement and support.
You are appreciated and we want to simply say thanks. Your sharing of our posts and content in your social media channels will help us to grow and reach more awesome people and we are truly grateful.
We believe that gratitude is an emotion best served when expressed daily and often! Gratitude can also help you at times to relieve stress.
Here is a practice that may help you as well if you are sitting all day in front of a computer screen.
Any time of day and once each hour we like to take a quick break to be mindful of our breathing. Here’s how!
We take a 45-second break:
Sit up and make ourselves comfortable.
Close your eyes and take a very deep abdominal breath for whatever is comfortable for us.
We hold it for a few seconds and when we are ready to exhale we do so very slowly through our mouth.
That’s it! Just being aware of your breath at times can be a great stress relief and also a great moment to re-center your thoughts and realign your mind.
Couple this with a thought of gratitude by appreciating that breath you just took and willfully put a smile on your face! This makes us feel great when we are creating!
One year ago and in some parts of the world taking a deep breath (in an enclosed and populated space) was considered very dangerous to do with the Pandemic and so many people around the world could not take a moment to just breathe.
So why not practice being a little bit more grateful for our ability to take a breath today? Our entire team is grateful to be alive and for being able to do what we love, and that is to create awesome things!
We’re sending you a virtual high 5 and we are grateful that you’ve decided to visit our community. We truly hope that you will become a member of our social media tribe and we invite you to become a member of our clan by visiting:
